This course prepares the Nurse Assistant (CNA) with the necessary knowledge, clinical skills, and professionalism expected by employers to provide the highest quality of comfort and care to patients by helping them with their daily activities. Graduates will receive Certification by the State of California as an entry-level healthcare worker and will be able to work in acute, long-term care hospitals, or home care settings. The curriculum covers both theory and practical application of skills needed to function as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
Completion of this course prepares you to sit for the California Department of Public Health Licensure Exam.
